What's included
Day 1 | Arrive at Climping
Check into your room. Explore the grounds of your stunning hotel, perhaps indulging in a spa treatment or a walk along the beach before dinner.
Day 2 | Optional Round Trip: Arundel Castle and Littlehampton - Distance: 19 mi/30km
Our destination mangers will call by after breakfast to handover your bikes and talk you through the details of your cycling tour. After this, it is time to get in the saddle and set off to explore. Our first recommended ride takes you to the spectacular village of Arundel, home to one of England’s most photogenic castles that overlooks the meandering River Arun. Lock up your bikes and spend a few hours wandering through the beautiful gardens and the castle itself, with room after room offering a glimpse into its rich history, perhaps topped off with an afternoon tea. When it is time to return to the coast, you’ll pass through the seaside resort town of Littlehampton, another spot to stop for a break and maybe even a dip in the sea, before cruising along the final few kilometres back to the hotel.
Approx. riding time: 2 hours
Day 3 | Optional Round Trip: Tinwood Wine Estate & Chichester - Distance: 28 mi/46km
For those staying with us for three nights, we have another great ride for you to enjoy today. Set off from your hotel and head towards the beauty of the South Downs National Park to pay a visit to the Tinwood Wine Estate, famed for its excellent Sussex Sparkling. Tours and tastings are available on request, but must be pre-booked. Afterwards, you have the choice of returning along the same route for an afternoon at leisure in the hotel or on the beach, or you can continue on to pay a visit to Chichester cathedral and some more of the region's beaches if you’d prefer. The choice is yours.
Approx. riding time: 3 hours
