What about travel insurance?
We cannot give advice on travel insurance, but certain providers do appear to provide more comprehensive cover for Covid-19 than others, so we recommend you scrutinise any travel insurance policy to check it covers what you need.
What happens if I contract Covid-19 leading up to my holiday?
If you contract Covid-19 leading up to your holiday, you will need to make a claim on your travel insurance. As per our terms and conditions of booking, adequate travel insurance is compulsory for all our travellers.
What are the entry requirements for my destination?
With the threat from Covid-19 now receding, we expect travel for fully vaccinated persons in Europe to be straightforward this summer. That said, the requirements of each country is slightly different, and can change at short notice. Please make sure you are familiar with the latest requirements for overseas travel that are in place before you travel.

What happens if we book a UK tour but aren't allowed to take part?
If Government guidance does not allow us to run the tour, you would be entitled to postpone your departure or receive a refund. In the meantime your money will always be 100% secure - we are ABTA members and your booking will be covered by their financial protection scheme.
How do I complete the Passenger Locator Form (PLF)?
From 18 March, all final UK Covid-19 travel restrictions have been lifted. This means you no longer need to complete a passenger locator form or take a test when arriving in the UK.
What if I receive a positive test whilst I’m in country before I travel back the UK?
If you receive a positive test result whilst on holiday, you will need to let Cycling for Softies, your accommodation provider and travel insurance company know immediately. Cover will vary dependent on the provider and level of cover you have chosen. You'll also need to self-isolate and follow the specific local procedures, which may vary from region to region. Your accommodation provider will be aware of these local procedures and should give you instructions on what you and the rest of your party need to do.
As per our terms and conditions of booking, adequate travel insurance is compulsory for all our travellers. It's important to make sure that your travel insurance policy covers you if you test positive for Covid-19, while you're on holiday and you need to extend your stay – otherwise you'll be responsible for these additional costs.
What steps are you taking to protect guests on your tours?
Our holidaymakers' health and safety is of the utmost importance to us and with that in mind, you will see below the steps that we are taking to protect you and mitigate the risk of contracting & spreading Coronavirus / COVID-19 while you are travelling on our tours.
