My husband happened to remark in Bonnieux that had had spotted the desserts behind the altar in the garage. I stared in disbelief, but it was confirmed later when I put my bike in the 'garage' (converted chapel) and glanced behind the altar to find a deep freeze. It could only happen in France!! ”

“We booked last minute and the office were brilliant. Thank you. To have all hotels and restaurants arranged is brilliant. Each hotel was individual with bags of atmosphere, ambience and warmth - exceeded all expectations. On our first day following Geoff's recommendations we cycled to Les Baux. We followed some others, realised this was a mistake and then promptly got lost for 2 hours! We cycled off road, uphill, down dale and got very tired. Finally we came across the correct road, clearly marked for all to see. It's uphill all the way and varying levels of fitness meant Nicci arrived at the top first. There she was met by an Army First Aid truck who gave her a bottle of water. Ten minutes later, I arrived and over came the friendly Army guys again, but this time with an oxygen tank!! There was much laughter. Only later when going home did we realise the First Aid truck wasn't meant for Susi holidaymakers but for an Army Corp out on a training exercise! We were told that Susi thinks of everything, but perhaps water AND oxygen was asking a little too much!! ”
